Two quick questions. Wondering if anyone is having an issue using Paypal checkout (Best Buy Canada) with a 2-line shipping address, only the first line makes onto the shipping label, and the unit number is missing. It's happened every time I ordered using Paypal over the last 3-ish years at least. So I always end up with shipping issues. The store I work for in Fort Myers has been on a steady decline since the district restructure and departure of Hubert. Of the people who were in our store pre-Covid, the only people left are our Geek Squad ARA team, and 3 sales associates from PC. Everyone else has either left the store, left the company, or been fired for some kind of harassment. For those leaving, I can’t blame them. I got my benefits from my new job and was enrolled previously with BB but never renrolled with them again as the new jobs benefits were better. Long story short I came back to bb part time but haven't gotten any paychecks yet. It hasnt been 2 full pay periods yet but I do not think that is the reason why I haven't been paid. Well, I have a Z fold 2 I currently use as my second phone on Visible and was just looking around on the best buy site and realized Best Buy offers an $800 trade in credit for a Z fold 2 towards a new fold/flip 4 which is like $300 more than the phone is actually worth on the used market. So, I see the Z flip 4 is $999.99 unlocked but with "activate today" only $849.99. Could I go to the store, trade in my z fold 2, get a $800 credit, and buy the flip 4 for $50? Then, just immediately cancel the phone plan and not pay it? Or just get the cheapest plan possible and only pay for one month? Just to give you an idea of a topical work shift of a Best Buy associate, Thursday I was scheduled at 7am, finished part of a mobile plano started on picks at 8am fast forward to 10am open every employee called in or was a no show. We had product flow, supervisor, GM, and a geek squad agent working salesfloor, picks, front lanes curbside, carryouts and order pick ups! It is a shit show to say the least, tried calling what few employees are left to call in, No one was available( they already know if someone is calling offering them hours to avoid the shit show). This is really getting out of hand . So in last month we had close to 8- 9 people left where i work at . My manger who is in charge of during scheduling is during a terrible job . Has anyone had problems with their managers not being able to accommodate your schedule for you? So long story short, I’ve had the same schedule for the last 3 years coming from store to BBCC. (Off weekends) Now with shift selection they rank us based off our numbers and I got stuck with a schedule that makes me work weekends and I absolutely can’t work that around my child care schedule. A BestBuy CreditCard holder. Why is 5% rewards on a TV that cost $799.99 comes out to $35 and not $40? I did try on other TVs and noticing the pattern which best buy is rounding down to the nearest whole hundred, e.g. $999.99 TV gets $45 in rewards while a $1049.99 TV gets $50 and $1199.99 TV gets $55 in rewards not $60. Sorry if this isn't the place for this, I'm just not sure what to do. A bit ago I went to my local best buy (about 40 minutes away) to buy two items. They only had 1 of the items in stock but said u could go ahead and purchase the second one and they would order it from another store. to start I guess, it was great and I loved my job for about 3 years since we had bonuses and I would make about 35k a year at 11-13 an hour. After the whole restructuring I was demoted to part time from full time in 2021 when we all got bumped to 15/hr . Hello, I was going to do a trade in promo, but the rep I got said it wouldn’t apply and didn’t really explain to me very well why it wouldn’t work for me and why it worked for a friend, who told me about the deal. I wanted to take advantage of a promo where if I traded in a good condition s20 in store, I would receive a $600 trade in credit towards the s21 fe. That part worked. What didn’t work was the current price. Currently, the s21 fe is on sale if I activate now for $499.99, which means I should walk out with a gift card for $70~ ish dollars. I know there's a lot of TotalTech questions lately, but cellphone ADH/ADL plans are always confusing as hell on purpose. It *seems* like TotalTech will cover any damage (but not loss) for a new high-end phone for just a $99 service fee? Comparable from Samsung/SquareTrade/whoever have $250 fees for damage and $500 for loss (which is crazy, you've paid for a new phone at that price.) I was working the sales floor and I approach this elderly lady in Smart Home(who seemed hesitant to receive my help from the start mind you). She asks “where are your wifi bridges?” I tell her “Wifi bridge? never heard of them to be honest. Can I ask what you’re trying to do?” She explains that she’s trying to connect her smart door lock to her wifi since it’s out of range. !oh ok a wifi extender. Hello all, As the title says, I’m curious if anyone has bought a Mini 3 (or any drone really) from Best Buy with the Total Tech protection plan? When I spoke to them about it , they main difference between that and DJI refresh is the TT from Best Buy does not cover fly always but it does cover damages where they would either repair or replace it. As a promoted to customer former employee, wtf? I’ve had total tech for 4 years, use it for my gaming accessories. I’ve had an xbox elite controller for a while now. Without fail within a year of purchase, something goes. The stick drifts, a button fails, etc. Earlier this week the right bumper started sticking. I go into the store closest to where I live (not my old store), where I’ve exchanged the last two. The last one was bought right after TT switched to 24 month protection plans included with purchase. Hey guys, just had my Best Buy interview today and it went great, however at the end of the interview I was told that my attire should definitely be improved in other interviews and should be something I should definitely improve on. If your new to best buy or thinking of applying just give this a read. Been with Best Buy for close to 9 years, started OS, made it full time and decided to go for management. Got turned down so to maximize pay I went for Mobile VPL cause they had bonus/40 hours. After awhile from that I took some LOA and came back to BBY as small parcel then geeksquad field services. I recently left to work remote from home in a career driven field and just wanted to give my 2 cents. ​ Retail is fine for a little while but dont do what I did and put yourself through 6 years of it... It just destroys your mental and the company doesnt care. ​ Let me tell you, if you have an opportunity to work field services take it... The pay is great and usually the hours are also. (cause OT is a thing). This was my favorite job in best buy. Even if you have 0 idea what to do (I didnt) try to get this job ​ Small parcel isnt bad either if you can get full time. Only downside is if your in a store that doesnt ...

I ordered an electronic from the store which was shipped out but never got delivered. Looked on my video recorder nothing ever came. Had to open a dispute with ups and they told me to file a police report. So I did and bestbuy I guess followed up with ups and sent me a replacment. A couple weeks went buy and some random person just dropped off my missing package not from UPS. I was considering purchasing an openbox washing machine but I had an employee tell me that it could get damaged when it gets delivered to my house. On top of that given that it’s an openbox should it get damaged BB relieves themselves of any liability. If I purchase a new one though and it gets damaged during delivery then they’ll cover damages. So I bought an 2500$ Ebike 2 weeks ago, right out of the box, the first one had issues with the electronic gear hub shifter, so I exchanged it no problem. Well, I’ve had the replacement bike for about a week now and this one has motor issues. Today is the last day of the return/exchange period. If I bring it back, will the exhange the replacement bike for another one? Or will I be forced into just getting a refund and cutting my losses? Hello fellow bby associates. So according to my Samsung rep and the email he got. We’re supposed to be able to do a pre order on the new fold and flip and tie a trade-in to it, with the unlocked promo without the customer giving up the phone today. I have not found a way to do it in core blue and the only options in trade in are just issue a gift card and take the device. Does anyone know how to do this or if this is false. The bridge said if it doesn’t work in coreblue to have the customer try on the website. The website won’t apply the promo though. Hey guys, this is probably a stupid question but, I recently bought a gaming laptop from Best Buy but have already exchanged it once due to speaker popping and severe display issues. The current one I have has been working well for the last few days but now the speakers are beginning to pop again and I hear coil whine even when I’m doing light tasks. Keep trying to make an online purchase with my business Visa card. No matter what I do, changing name around, address, etc. the payment will not go through. I'm concerned with using a central system for personal information like personal career plans and short time scale improvement plans while at BBY. I'm also concerned with putting personal information on the system (whether it's set to private or not). Does anyone know whether we will be able to opt out of using Workday when it arrives in September? I'd rather use pen and paper and file it away for my own review.
