My coworker was in the hospital for reasons I won’t say, but after being released they brought a hospital note back to work to give to the managers, and they were sat down and gave an informal “write up” saying that hospital notes don’t excuse the absence. It seems unethical to me?? The whole point of a hospital note is to excuse the absence. I received a pair of Sony earbuds exactly a year and a day ago for Christmas 2021. One bud has slowly been cutting in and out, and getting worse and worse. It is an issue with the hardware itself, as the audio cuts in and out when physically touching/moving the pod. I was not aware the two year GS protection plan was purchased for me as part of this gift. Today, I stupidly opened up the earpod to clean it inside with alcohol. It did help a bit, but did not correct the problem fully. The issue is that the plastic casing of the earbud is kind of torn up now due to me prying the earbud open. Would I still be able to open a claim with GS to have this issue fixed? Or are they going to claim I voided the warranty? Hey y’all. I had something very traumatizing happen to me this past Friday after work, I was robbed at gunpoint while trying to sell something off of Facebook market place. I got away with my life, and I feel lucky to be alive. This has been happening for about six years now. Someone has been giving Best Buy my information when they buy things. It’s in an area I’ve never lived in and nobody I know has ever lived in. They’re not using my money, just my Best Buy account. I’ve never been charged. I’m kinda meticulous about where my money is going, and I haven’t seen any charges attached to these purchases. From the looks of it it’s just random things. At least once a year I get a receipt for a Zagg screen protector, or a Spiegen iPhone case, or some kind of charger. Posting this around hoping it’ll help someone from google or in the search function. Headline info: Best Buy doesn’t cover burn in for the first year of the geek squad warranty. Despite saying quite the opposite in the terms & conditions. The first year is covered by the by the manufacturers warranty not Best Buy. I know LG does not cover burn in their manufacturer warranty. So if you recommend the Best Buy warranty in regards to burn in make sure caveat your recommendation with that. If you have a Best Buy OLED don’t make a burn in claim until the first year is up on warranty. Normally burn in within a year isn’t a common issue. But anybody (me unfortunately) who buys open box could end up getting burnt with a display tv. This is purely to satisfy my curiosity and because I’ve never been an employee, so I have no idea how these systems work. So if I have an employee at store “A” order me something to be delivered because they don’t have it in stock, where is that order being fulfilled from? Can they order something and have it be shipped from store “B”, several miles or even a couple towns away? Or can each store only order and ship from their own location and stock? Does anyone have contact for up up corporate. The store by me has rude people and just seem to care about $$. I bought appliances from the Southaven, MS (Memphis metro area) on 11/2. They were delivered 11/30. My purchase earned $250 in gift cards, due to me after the purchas was completed. The store has not acknowledged that two of the items were completed on 11/30, which is preventing the gift cards from being released. I've chatted 4 times, called the BB main phone # 4 times, and each time the agent has said they'd try to get the store or delivery company to complete the documentation, and each of those 8 times nothing has happened. I had planned to buy my son's Christmas gift with these gift cards, and they are the only reason i went with BB instead of another retailer. I live an hour from the store but I can go there if it will help. Any advice to help get these acknowledged? I had my second interview with the manager for the position on 12/2. Met the qualifications and did well in the interview. Originally interviewed for a double agent role, but that manager recommended I check this out because of my repair background. Appliance manager said he was impressed and could see why the other manager wanted him to meet with me. I was asked when I could start and everything.
