Had my rewards account stolen from me for the 3rd time in the last year today. They redeemed $525 in rewards, buying a PS5 at a store in Bowie, MD. This is the same store that they used my points to buy an iPad at last year. After working with the executive response team last summer, I got my points back, and they placed a million flags on my account indicating to not do anything on the account related to points, etc. We ensured I had 2FA turned on, we changed the phone # on my account, and we changed the email address on my account. None of that mattered, as they wiped me out again. My leading theory is that this is an inside job by someone at Best Buy, potentially on the delivery/scheduling team. My thinking for this is as follows: September 9th, I ordered a remote start for my car. Their online scheduling was down, so I called the morning of 9/10 to schedule an install.
