So I got Best Buy to install the Rexing - V1P Plus and its working great for a few months. ​ I had to take the memory card out though, cause I wanted to make sure it was working, so I turned the car (2021 Toyota Camry) off, and take it out, but I drop the damn thing and cannot find it anywhere, no matter how hard I look. ​ Fuck. ​ So I buy a new memory card and its working good...for about 2 weeks and when I turn the car on, the screen goes blue and says "Memory Error" and does not record. ​ So I follow the steps to fix it and it works...for another 2 weeks before I get the same damn message. ​ So I try another new memory card, the one that Rexing recommends, but I still keep getting the message after 2 weeks. ​ I reached out to the Rexing company and their recommendation is to just get a new one at this point. ​ So new one or could the geek squad somehow take a crack at it? submitted by /u/OverlordPoodle [link] [comments]

I never opened it and then changed my mind so the order number says returnable until the 30th so today is the 29th and the reps say yesterday was the last day. Their system won't let them return it. Before I say what I’m going to say let me set some precedent. I left Best Buy recently (7 years). I do not like Corrie Barry. I think Best Buy is being poorly run. Having said that, this rage and frustration being directed at Corrie is not entirely in her control. CEO’s are puppets installed by the board of directors to enact their will and make the shareholders money. Corrie/ exec team do not get to make large scale financial decisions without the board’s approval. Corrie wants to spend more on labor? Board decision. Hello! Just wondering if my Best Buy was giving me the right information or not so wanted to ask here to see. I purchased the iPhone 14 Pro from Best Buy and it’s battery life is less than stellar despite everything I have tried. I have talked with Apple in regards to this and their suggestion is that since this is within the first 14 days, I should just get it replaced. When I went to my local Best Buy, they told me their only option was to send it it off to Apple, thus leaving me without a phone until a replacement arrives. They said they can’t do a straight up exchange despite it being defective and it being within my return period. I know different vendors can have different ways of doing things and Apple can be difficult to work with as a third party but this seems a bit extreme for the customer to be left with no option to be without a phone if it’s defective and for the store to refuse to take it back or exchange it out within the return period, especially the first two weeks...

Haven’t seen this posted yet but….With the transition to work day we noticed something a tad FUBAR regarding PTO refresh. Essentially if you were part time and transitioned to a full time role. Your refresh date is no longer your full time anniversary date but your hire date. Issue with this comes from the fact that if your hire date has passed you missed the refresh. For instance I now have to wait 14 months until I get my PTO rather than the 2 months from my FT anniversary. Sooooo today I had someone get upset with me because I didn’t feel comfortable doing a no receipt return. To preface this, my management had it DRILLED into my head we don’t do no receipt returns. At my store the manager is real stickler about everyone being on walkie at all times, and having our earpieces in at all time. If he sees someone who doesn't have it in, they get chewed out. So I just ordered a monitor off samsung.com and choose to have it shipped to best buy for pickup. The reason I did this was to purchase a geek squad protection plan at the store. I had chatted in to best buy support and a rep said that I would be able to purchase a plan no problem. This was about a week before the purchase. I thought it was just an extension or the stylesheets in my Firefox ESR on a MacBook that made the prices disappear since a few days ago… But I've just checked with Chrome on an incognito Chromebook — which I've purchased at BestBuy a few weeks ago — and, it, too, doesn't show any prices! They do appear for about a split second, and then the whole area is removed, and only the "Add to Cart" button remains where the price used to be shown a second prior! My Chromebook and MacOS aren't even on the same network upstream here, so it must be a widespread website issue which breaks the display of the prices in specific circumstances! (Which circumstances? Who knows!) I'm honestly surprised how an online retailer the size of BestBuy can have such a subpar website that (intentionally) doesn't work in half the browsers in half the scenarios half the time. So I'm a vendor in a best buy and the management keeps trying to force me to work as a blueshirt. I do not mind helping here and there but I can get in big trouble if I were to be caught selling competitors products. I've talked the the GM and everything; nothings been resolved. In fact the exact opposite. They get mad if I have to do a work call or it I step off the floor to go to the bathroom or take a little break. All the other vendors are having the same issues as I am. Former 5 year employee. Left September 2020. Worked in every sales/management position outside of GM. I will start off by saying I started at Best Buy right out of a two year college diploma. To say the least I was young and still unsure what I wanted to do for a living. Looking back I might even say I was naive. I will not totally bash Best Buy. I ordered something that wasn't delivered. The shopper marked it as delivered but didn't deliver it. I have been calling Best Buy phone number but get told a different story every time. my phone's battery port has become loose and me being new to iPhones I didn't know there was something called AppleCare and didn't get it. soo my question is can BestBuy fix my loose charging port because every time I insert a charger inside the port it doesn't charge it or it falls off and I have to insert the cable in weird positions in order to charge it. submitted by /u/Captain_creed [link] [comments]

As the title states, I have a really quick question about a refund. I just bought an iPhone 14 Pro case in-store early today and threw away the packaging in the store due to me putting the case on after trading in my old phone. I was wondering since the case was not what I thought it was (it has holes under the power and volume buttons that I didn't notice at first. So long story short, I applied for part time Retail Warehouse Associate, and got a call a few days later and did the first interview yesterday. Manager was super cool, and I THINK he liked me and the interview. I told them everything I know about bestbuy and why i wanna work, saying I can work any time and wanna work towards full time/more hours along with helping other departments. He said he was gonna forward it to the GM (im assuming store manager) and I should get another call within 2/3 days. I know this is only the next day but how soon did any of you get your second interview? Is the next interview the one where you know you'll be hired or not? Any tips or advice/experience would be appreciated. Thank you so much :) Also side note, since I said I would help other departments, they said before my interview to also apply for geek squad/sales consultant, which I did. Only problem is that they were only for seasonal hiring. Should I also do the video interview for that too bef...

My 2021 Zephyrus G14 was sent out a few days ago for repairs, and the time between the service center receiving my laptop & finishing the repair was only 3 hours. From my understanding the issue was either with the dGPU or motherboard - when will I find out what they repaired/replaced to fix the problem? Hi guys, I have a BA, years of CSR experience in retail (albeit my stint in big box that I can claim was short), about 2 years of sales experience outside of retail (property management - I was in leasing for luxury apartments), and in about the past two years at my small retail store, I have been acting as a head cashier, essentially, and train people. I also have co-management of ops duties like inventory tracking/input and financial tasks, etc. I have a phone interview this week for ASM role. I'm turning our spare 11x14 room into a "video game room". I'm going to buy 2 55" TV's and two soundbars. I want them hung on the same wall with the soundbars under them. So knowing I am purchasing two 55" tvs, two soundbars and two mounts, should I get the TT just for the "savings" on the mounting? I live in Fort Wayne and I had one of the home consult guys come here and his ideas for the job were AMAZING and then he proceeded to just no do any of the stuff he said he wanted to do. I’ve been looking dad phone to a Pro Max and saw the delivery times were faster if I upgraded at Best Buy. When I add the phone to my cart and do the trade in, I do not get the promotion and only the instant credit trade in. Hello, I do online school and make my own hours for homework so my schedule is open for any shifts I am legally allowed to work. For my state that is 6am-10:30am through sunday-thursday and 6am-11:30am friday-saturday. Would it be worth it to apply?
