Hi! So, after over a year of jumping through hoops to get my money back on a Sony TV that’s been nothing but trouble since we bought it, Best Buy finally gave me credit to use the original purchase price money to get something else. I've looked this up and can't find an answer for something I've noticed. Since I've gotten the Plus Membership, I've made several purchases on-line and in-store and I've noticed that the online ISPU orders give me the 60-day return window and the normal in-store purchases give me the 15-day. For the normal in-stores I gave my phone number for my account and I know it connected to my Plus membership because one of the items was a plus membership priced item. I transitioned from seasonal to full time with a month last year, but since then I moved to part time since I have taken up another job as my main income. My hire date was 9/28. So this is kind of my fault because I ordered and canceled my order several times to add or remove stuff from my order, change the delivery method, or add a coupon code. So as the title suggested I had an in-person interview at a Best Buy on 9/26. Every time I've submitted an application for Best Buy it has always been "Under Review", and I've done three in-person interviews at two different locations. Even after the in-person interview, the application will still say "Under Review" until usually it says "No Longer Under Consideration". I think the main reason for being rejected is because I was under 18. When I did my interview on 9/26 I was over 18 and when I submitted the application I said I was 18, which I am now. Well on 9/27 I noticed that my application status went from "Under Review" to just "Interview". I have never seen this before. I bought an open box on sale Sony a80k 65" and loved the color and upscaling feature as I was a ton of SDR content from a Xfinity cable box. My issues started with the overall brightness of the a80k and aggressiveness of the ABL. I also noticed some (fairly noticeable) DSE and decided to return the a80k. I then bought a Samsung s90c 65" and initially out of the box I loved it. I started out watching stuff (Sports, TV, Movies) in the tizin interface. I then decided to hook up my cable box to watch SDR content (I know I know but..). This is where things started to take a turn for the worst. I felt as if the upscaling on the Sony was very noticeable as compared to the Samsung. I typically watch sports and turned on the smoothing settings as high as possible to get the smoothest viewing possible. Ordered a Zephyrus M16 laptop on the 4th of September during the Labor Day sale. I was supposed to pick it up on 12th from the store but didn't receive any mail or update from BestBuy so called them to know what exactly is the problem. The customer care representative said they are "out of stock" and have to order it from the "manufacturer" and that the item would be available for an in-store pickup by the 22nd. This is a “general question” to spark some conversation, but say a GM of a spoke store is sitting on an open supervisor position, and has been for about three months now. They conducted interviews each time it’s been opened (4 times now) and isn’t filling the position. This is not to say people aren’t applying, some fine people have applied, many MANY shift leads. They claim to “not be in a rush to fill it” even though it is just them, the EM, and the other sup, AND is allowing normal vacation, so off and on there are only two leaders available to work in a given week. It has become normal for them to have the Sup or EM be there the entire day open to close. At what point should the Director step in and fill the position themselves, or deem the GM incapable of leading that team? I have purchased Open Box products from various companies in the past. Generally it is an item that was returned working that was open, but in good working condition. I just pre ordered the iPhone 15 Pro on my Verizon account through Best Buy. Just a normal Best Buy worker rant. When I started working there I had high hopes, but after some months it’s been really mid. The biggest part for me is the unethical measures some employees take. Some of them have lied to customer about the corridor card or in one case had a mother apply who was on the phone with her children and even had their daughter impersonate their mom when they had to call citi bank which is wild. Also had a supervisor or didn’t really state that Best Buy plus was a yearly membership and just said swipe your card for it. Not really as bad it’s just I feel bad if I screw over customers. Has anyone else had an issue adding a payment method to their account or modifying current ones? I had a personal account I was going to make a purchase on. Submitted an update and now I can no longer see my payment methods nor make purchases due to an issue loading the payment methods during checkout. I bought a galaxy tab s6 yesterday afternoon from bestbuy.com for instore pickup, and didn't get the protection since it didn't seem like it'd cover a broken screen. Well, a couple of hours later and my screen is heavily cracked. Is there any hope of exchanging it, or otherwise salvaging this situation? My friend told me to say it came out of the box like this, but I don't want to lie. On top of that, the screen is cracked pretty badly and the box is undamaged. Doesn't seem like they'd believe me even if I wanted to try. Was I wrong about the protection plan? It was kind of vague on the best buy website, but I didn't sound like it would've covered accidental screen damage. I purchased a laptop from Best Buy in July. I decided to return it and dropped it off at UPS. However, UPS has lost the package. After many backs and forth, UPS confirmed package is lost and Best Buy agreed to refund me within 10 to 15 business days. More than 15 business days later, I have not gotten a refund yet. I have contact BestBuy multiple times. One told me to wait another month and another agent was able to escalate the matter for me. He guaranteed that I would be contacted within this week. I have had more than 10 different conversations with BestBuy agents and multiple guaranteed dates were missed. I'm not so optimistic about this one. What are my options here if Best buy doesn't response by tomorrow? It's approaching the credit card dispute deadline for this transaction. I purchased a Galaxy book 2 pro 360 1 year ago and from day one it was very much a struggle. Aside from that my question to anybody is being that I am a total tech member I get 24 months of being able to return the galaxy book I guess. The issue is that it runs so hot that I can literally not touch it for more than 2 seconds otherwise I will burn my fingers. Same thing with the charging block that also is scorching hot. The battery on a full charge last maybe 40 minutes before it's almost dead. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that could help me or let me know what Best buy will do for me. This has been a constant source of headache for gamers everywhere. Pre-ordering a game expecting to get it on release used to never be a hard concept. But in the post covid Era it appears to be. Mortal Kombat 1 comes out today 9/14 for the Premium edition. Several Best Buy stores are having system issues showing not to release it until next week because they weren't told it was gonna get the release for Premium pushed up. As a result, my local store despite proof to the contrary of what's shown on their end vs what I have on mine and after talking to support, they still don't want to give customers their copies. This has been reported by other people who pre-ordered as well but some have had luck of the store manager(s) wherever they are relenting and just giving the customers what they paid for and are correctly entitled to receive on time. Just went to purchase more appliances for a new condo and was told the Total Membership perks no longer include free installation and shipping of appliances. Shipping/Install was quoted today at $145 for a dishwasher + $50 haul away fee for old appliance. I purchased three new appliances on July 4th sale and purchased the total membership package, which at the time included shipping+ installation of appliances. Placed a pre-order for 3 4K Steelbook DVDs that aren't out yet. Best Buy charged me the full amount when the order was placed, then refunded the amount, then charged it again, refunded, charged again.. I've lost count how many times they've done this now. It can overdraw your debit card/bank account, & it's just bad policy. You're typically not supposed to charge someone for an item until that item becomes available. Hello there to anyone who can tell me what to expect from this situation, if it rings a bell for you. What do I do about this e-gift card? It was supposedly issued to my email for a price match item during the Labor Day sale, but I never got an email about it. It appears to be visible in my account to Best Buy employees on online chat and in my local store (via phone call...so maybe call center actually...not sure). It appears to not exist according to Cashstar. All they found for me was something from Nordstrom from 2021. It should have been a simple credit card refund in the first place. Nothing was purchased with a gift card, and the other two identical price match refunds went through just fine. Over Labor Day weekend, I was shopping for a 4th set of these headphones because everyone in the family ended up liking them. I saw they were on sale, and I found out the three previous, separate headphones purchases were eligible for price match because of the Total Tech membership...

Hello all, I have recent applied to Bestbuy on 17th of August and fast forward to two weeks ago got a call about doing a interview (which after so long of just being ignored by places not even giving denial). Well I did the interview on monday the 28th and the person who i did interview with said I should get response by the following wednesday after that week as had more people lined up as well.
