Galaxy buds2 not available from Best Buy?

I have been shopping Bluetooth ear buds the 0ast week and decided to finally try Samsung Galaxy buds2 for their quick switching feature. With seamless connection, when a Bluetooth device calls for Samsung buds with this feature they connect without you needing to disconnect an already connected device. The buds2 are still available from other retailers so it's not a recall. Anyone know what's up or can recommend any other buds with this feature, most Bluetooth earbuds require you to disconnect from the first device to connect to another. Man I used to look forward to working. Not anymore

I was originally hired for sales floor, core sales and the last month I’ve just been in front end. At first it all started with just covering someone for their break or lunch and then it turned to covering someone their shift and now I’m just all front end. It fucking sucks being in the front. And they also put me for store pick up randomly too. I didn’t know shit about store pick up and they just put me there expecting like I knew. My last shifts have been doing both store pick ups and curbside AND cashier in front. I’m never in the sales floor now. I miss being in sales floor. Best Buy Total/Plus

So I k ow there is a lot of hate surrounding the new membership options we now have but I actually like them better this way. The Plus and Total only have a real difference of the free protection and IN-STORE ONLY services for free plus 20% off repairs. However the whole in-home services will still be a periodic thing with the purchase like this week appliances get free installs. The beat thing about them is a benefit that Total Tech had but is much better with the new memberships such as we are currently running a deal on switch games right now where it's buy 2 get one free for members, or save $50 on top of the sale price on Macbooks and select Windows laptops. submitted by /u/ShadowDemon527 [link] [comments]

Open box - excellent condition TV has a largish dent on the enclosure

Purchased an LG C2 as an open box in excellent condition today. Brought it home and discovered that there is a largish dent on the corner. It has 137 hours of screen time, but I guess that isn’t terrible. It otherwise seems to be working fine. But it certainly isn’t what I would consider to be in “excellent” condition. I went on the Best Buy website to review the criteria for what condition they evaluate TVs at. From the website, it seems like this should have been evaluated as “fair”. The cosmetic dent isn’t necessarily a deal breaker for me. But I’m not going to pay for the excellent price point when it should have been at the fair condition price point. Store is closed now, but I plan on calling them tomorrow. What should I expect here? Will they offer to take some additional amount off if I agree to keep the TV; and if so- how much? So I’ve been with Best Buy for 2 years now and I’m one of the top performers in my store I’m a shift lead and one of the people others look to for help and I just found out a new person who was hired within the last month makes more than me…. How do I go about getting a raise is it even possible without waiting for the yearly review? Product flow employee here, was hoping someone with more sales or customer service experience could help me out. I purchased two cards for the preorder of the Scarlet and Violet DLC. The card says the codes print on the reciept, which they didn’t. I thought it was fine because they also go to your email. I checked that my email was correct and after a few days I still don’t have them. I am not sure if it’s because it’s a preorder, and the codes will be supplied at release, or if I am missing the codes. Beware of Best Buy and their pre order bonuses for games

So I pre-ordered Final Fantasy XVI from Best Buy due to the fact they were doing a steelbook pre-order bonus for anyone that pre-ordered the game through them no matter what edition was purchased (standard, deluxe, collectors, etc). So a few days ago I receive my order and to my surprise, no steelbook and no digital pre-order bonus that was also supposed to be included. So I call Best Buy’s customer service number and speak to a representative and he essentially says they’re sorry but there’s nothing they can do. My issue is that at this point it’s blatant mis-advertisement and the fact that I didn’t receive what I agreed to purchase, and had I known they weren’t going to follow through with said pre-order bonus, I would’ve pre-ordered from another retailer to get their exclusive pre-order bonus instead. But now that the game has released i’ve been screwed out of both. So I call again just to see if I can’t get someone that can do something for me, and again, no luck. At this point ...

Geek Squad Replacement for Limited Edition Products

I’m looking to buy the new Starfield Edition Xbox Controller from Best Buy (online), and I see there’s an option to also get a “2-Year Accidental Geek Squad Replacement”. I’d like to have my controller covered, but I’m wondering how this warranty works considering it’s limited edition. I assume these things are going to run out eventually, so what would be the case if it stopped working a year from now? Would they replace it with a regular controller? Would they fix it instead? Knowing I could get an exact replacement is nice, but I doubt they’re going to keep an $80 controller in stock just because I buy a $25 warranty. Would Best But be able to check if its the exact same watch?

So I received an Apple watch as a gift in January. Loved it but said mom, I’d rather you keep the $400. I’ll get it for myself some day. I returned it in March. Well she passed away in May. I just bought the exact same model earlier today because I know she wanted me to have this watch so bad. Is there any way for Best Buy to check if this is the exact same watch? Returning an instore purchase by mail

I'm trying to figure out how I can return an in-store purchase by via mail. I live in a remote community, with no Bestbuy within a reasonable distance. During a recent trip, I purchased a universal laptop charger (which didn't work), and I need to return it. However, I won't be travelling anywhere with a Bestbuy within the 30 day return period. I called 2 different customer service lines who were zero help, and said because it was purchased instore it cannot be returned via mail (sounds like a ridiculously stupid system to me). The support chat was just as useless. They mentioned something about a return label and UPS, but I don't even have a UPS location in my town, and I can't print a return label without order-id etc which in store purchases don't have. YardBird is a flop and perfectly encapsulates the wrong direction Best Buy is heading in

They spend $85 million on an overpriced and poor quality "outdoor furniture" company. Amidst layoffs at the time too. They sell terribly, with most products having no ratings or just a few ratings on them. Equivalent product can be had for much less at costco, home depot etc. No employee discount on any of the products. Pushes it so hard on in-store ad reels on demo tvs. Prioritizes Yardbird showrooms over magnolia/premium audio showrooms. Final Fantasy 16 preorder bonus

Hello Reddit, I preordered a few months ago, received the game yesterday from Bestbuy.ca, and still haven't gotten my preorder bonus code. (checked my spam and promotional folders and no codes. I've reached out to Best Buy customer service and spoke to a supervisor and they mentioned that I should have received the code from square enix (manufacturer) and they have no control over it. The supervisor states she would submit a ticket to her technical team but I got a weird feeling she didn't know what she was doing. My husband posted about how he got scammed by a person dressed in Best Buy uniform and name tag right outside of a Best Buy store….. Best Buy is a big box version of Walmarts electronic section

Refund applied to incorrect card

I purchased 2 items which came out to a total of $2734.19. $2400 was charged to my Best Buy Card and $334.19 was charged to my master card. I went in to refund the item that was $334.19 because I didn’t want to buy an adapter for that item (didn’t come with it) and I was asked whether I wanted the money to go onto my best buy card or my mastercard. I said Mastercard because that’s my personal credit card. I left best buy and saw I never got my money back and was a bit confused about this so I checked the receipt and saw it went to my Best Buy card (😐) I called the card support people and was told it’s pending on my best buy card and the purchase was pending and they were confused and didn’t even seem to know what I was talking about and then said they will fix it and I should call back on the 22nd but again, he sounded like he was waffling up random bs. Amazing New GM

I just wanted to say that there actually are great managers out there. My husband and I needed extra money so we both got part-time weekend jobs. He started at Best Buy and I actually went through two different employers within a couple of months. These employers advertised hours and positions that they couldn’t deliver on, asking me to work on days I expressed clearly that I couldn’t due to my full-time job. After a struggle, my husband talked to his GM and I was interviewed and offered a position. The GM is new to his position, but truly cares about his employees. Store wide employee planned theft and management will do nothing about it

Throwaway account. It's common knowledge at my store that a group of 10ish employees conspire together and steal a lot of products from our store. Management has been aware and said that they'll handle it but nothing ever happens. Best Buys customer support is so bad that Im never shopping there again

Package couldn’t be delivered because apparently it needed a signature. This wasn’t specified on the order. Best Buy customer service told me to go to Purolater before it closes to pick it up in spite of what was written on the slip that was left on my door and lo and behold the package wasn’t there. No one I talked to afterwards would accept any responsibility for either the miscommunication on the signature part or the advice to pick it up from purolater. So much time wasted. How many times is Corie gonna change stuff?

Corie comes in: Gets rid of most price matches. Gets rid of a ton of employees. Reduces store hours. Changes the store hours like ten times before deciding on it. Creates a nonsensical "general store associates" nonsense, which is what bankrupted Circuit City. Changes Total Tech Support to Total Tech. Changes Total Tech to My Best Buy Total. Yeets the Elite and Elite Plus tiers and screws over everybody in those tiers without compensation. Everybody who isn't in the membership gets a shitty 15-day return period now. Gets rid of free installation perks while only reducing the price $20. Gets new My Best Buy Plus membership. Why should anyone keep using Best Buy if nothing stays consistent? For those that had asked to see our label printers

One of our warehouse guys found that the reason the labels were jamming was because when you tore the label, it was tearing the back off of the next in line and that was adhering to the roller. By adding this cardboard he changed the tear to be on the actual tear line of the labels. Virtual Vendor event down?

Anyone else having trouble getting it to work? Was finishing off all the stuff last night that dropped a couple of days ago, now I can’t even get it to load, it says there’s a “server outage” and slowly loads from 30% to 99% where it hangs. Does your guys’ stores still do Mobile data transfers for customers? If so, how do you personally tender it in the system?

My store’s “policy” is that we can no longer do Data Transfers for the customer in the moment they are purchasing the phone unless they buy Totaltech with the phone which in my opinion is kind of disingenuous because not everyone has $200 to drop right then and there just to have their damn contacts and photos transferred over. We even used to be able to transfer the data if they paid a $40 transfer fee but we’re technically not even allowed to do that anymore. There’s a lot of negativity and I understand why. Transfer to CFC

So we know this company is going down. That's not a speculation or opinion, corporate can say this has to do with changing to meet demand, but we can all see it. We're on a fast track to being sold/merging (likely to or with Amazon) or straight up going bankrupt. Obviously we all should have plans B C D and E set up for when the inevitable happens but my thoughts are the future of this company for what it's worth is going to be in the CFCs. I'm not at one but looking to transfer when the opportunity arises. Ops and logistics are an integral part of our society and working in this field will always have demand, regardless of where you work. At least that's my viewpoint. No Response from Magnolia Design Center Rep

Starting back in April/May I began designing a new HT system with a rep from Best Buy’s Magnolia Design Center. We finally agreed on all of the specifics and I placed a $10K deposit down through Magnolia in order to get equipment ordered. This was in early May, and he told me the stuff would be in and we could schedule install in late May. Earlier this month I began texting and emailing the rep to get an update of where things stand, and it’s been complete silence, I haven’t been able to get a response. I’ve tried calling the store he’s based out of but there’s apparently no way to talk to a person in the store and the call center people are beyond useless. Is there some hotline for Magnolia Design Center projects that I can call to get some answers? Best Buy Credit Card

I recently decided to get a best buy credit card and was approved without any issues. Took about a week to receive the card in the mail. Once I got it, I went to my account to setup everything to start making payments on the card. It verified my bank account and I submitted a payment online on the 5th of this month. I noticed after a few days the money never left my bank account. I logged back intoy best buy account this morning to see under the payment status "Payment Returned". I'm confused by this. I have the funds readily available from my checking account that I linked for the payments. On top of that, my bank account was no longer linked and I had to re link it and resubmit the original payment. Has anyone dealt with this before? Home from BestBuy where i stood looking at TVs for twenty minutes without a sole salesperson approaching me in all that time. Saw a young man sauntering along, staring down at his mobile, so i ask if he works here. Despite his blue shirt with BestBuy logo he pauses, then slowly replies "Not really." At leas he was honest. Why can I not transfer a GSP plan?

Context: I purchased a laptop from someone on Facebook who has a GSP plan active on it. I have gone to the store and confirmed the plan is still active. When I asked the store manager how to transfer the plan, they told me to call a number and it will be taken care of. So I did. I called the number and whoever the call was outsourced to, they told me I cannot transfer the plan as "that's not how that works" They told me plans can't be transferred but because I am a total tech member I can get the basic tech support on my product for free. Why are they barring me from transferring the plan into my own name? I have the receipt from the online pick up when it was originally purchased 6 months ago. Refunded purchase without asking?

So I bought a geek squad certified iPad last week and Best Buy took the money out of my account upon purchase but I just checked and my bank account says that they sent me the money back into my account, like every cent. But here’s the problem, I’m not sure what to do since I can’t get any emails about that order because I accidentally misspelled my email address. I’m worried that maybe they sent me a defective iPad or something and refunded it and I just don’t know? The iPad seems relatively fine but it is glitching every now and then with dropping wifi connection etc ever since I got it. It’s also the newest model of the iPad. What should I do? Geek Squad TV Warranty Question

Hello, I purchased an open-box LG OLED in 2020. I got the 5-year Geek Squad warranty as well. I'm having a hard time recalling how the warranty works. I think I remember the manager telling me that I would get the full price of the TV if something goes wrong and they don't fix it. Does that sound right?
