Geek Squad open box MacBook Pro damaged?

Hi, I got my new mbp today. It was open box but it was suppose to be like new condition. Everything looks good except for the cable. The cable is ripped. It doesn’t charge. I’m hoping that’s the problem and not the MacBook. I was wondering if I could go into best buy and just exchange the cable for a new one, or do I have to return and buy a whole new MacBook again.

Anybody else notice with this “One Team One Dream” how Product Flow seems to get f*cked over the most, or is this just my store? I have to reset my password with each login?

This is super weird. But for the last month or so I've had to reset my password every time I've logged in. I don't understand why my passwords are never recognized. I know for sure the password is correct, the one I set the prior session, because I've become increasingly more careful about it. But at this point, I can only assume there's something broken on Bestbuy's end.
